At Sun Lakes Community Church we believe
... the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, and the rule of faith and practice.
... that there is one God eternally existent in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
... in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth and sinless life; in His substitutional and atoning death through His shed
blood, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and personal return in power and glory.
... that man is saved from sin by grace through faith in Christ apart from works of the law. This spiritual birth from above results in
a new life of obedience to Christ and in growing likeness to Him. This takes place by the power of the Holy Spirit, who indwells
every believer.
... in the bodily resurrection of the saved to life eternal.
... there are two ordinances the Church must observe, the ordinance of baptism, and the ordinance of the Lord's Supper.
... that the mission of the Church, for which she is uniquely equipped by the Holy Spirit, is to spread the good news of the gospel by
the holy life of its members, their genuine love for one another, their service to mankind everywhere, and their patient endurance
of suffering.
... in marriage as defined in the Bible as being between a man and a woman. We recognize that the Bible identifies homosexuality
and related sexual behavior as sin.
... that human life begins at conception.
